Information Security Manager
As the manager responsible for the integrity and security of sensitive data assets I face a daunting number of challenges. Increasing regulations combined with the growing number of highly visible data losses demand that I know who is doing what to our data, and how, at all times. How can I maintain vigilance over every one of our transaction systems and every single transaction when our current security systems are wholly inappropriate to address these new risks associated with compromised data (e.g. inappropriate access, human error, data theft). I’m just hoping that nothing happens, but I know that one day we are going to be seriously compromised and I must find a solution before that day comes.
The Cervello Solution - Automate database auditing with Cervello Audit DB
Cervello solutions provide insight into the actual vs. intended use of information. Using industry best practice and your organization’s own policy information, Cervello provides current state analysis of security policy configurations and entitlements. Combined with automated and continuous auditing, incident detection, and reporting and analysis, Cervello provides insight into the cause and effect of information activity. Information security managers can be confident in the integrity and security of sensitive data. Cervello’s approach is based on these principles:
- Adherence to security policy, and knowledge of deviations, must be managed to reduce risk
- Auditing of critical information must be continuous to reduce risk
- Auditing must be automated to achieve efficiencies for an ongoing, sustainable compliance program
- Information must be safeguarded at the source – the database where information is stored and managed
